4 stars because I'm waiting to see how they hold up. So far so good - I've used for heavy landscaping and light construction. No signs of wear other than dirt! I ordered extra large and they fit great. The thicker material and padding have been great.

I use these for yard work and most of the Arizona desert thorns do not penetrate the palm area. I am careful though. Gloves from Big Box Store I have tried did not protect as well with the same materials. I really like these gloves.

This is my second pair of the Ironclad Super duty gloves. I still have my first pair. They are a little worn after 10 years of heavy use, but still useable. Great item!
