Beware if you contact the mfg for service. Sit on hold for a long time, does not return calls or emails.

I purchased this heater and I liked having a remote control. The heater works great but the remote part does not. I thought it was the remote itself but it wasn't. My brother bought the same heater and I used my remote on his and it worked. Evidently something inside the heater itself does not work with the remote. It is to late to return the device to Amazon and I really don't want to pack up the heater and send it back.

well, i thought it was me but...it's not. i moved it to a smaller room and nuthin'! this thing puts out less heat than my car heater and my car heater has a stronger fan. revised from 4 stars down to 2

I am offering this detailed information as reference for anyone looking to purchase this heater.

Well, I have a single car garage that I use often.
It is unheated but, has some old insulation and is completely closed in with plywood from floor to ceiling.
The sealing is also insulated and is closed in.
I have a garage door but, not an insulated one.
The garage has 3 room size windows.

So, I left the heater going for about 1 hour - the temperature went from 47 degrees to 50 degrees.
So, it's not really up to the job.

So, why 4 stars ?
I don't think it's the heaters fault.
I think it's just too small of a heater.
In fact, I don't think 3 or 4 of them would be the job.

Any how, the quality seems good.
It seems easy to knock over BUT does not seem dangerous at all...just awkward.

Minus one star for lack of power. The blower seems a bit week and it doesn't "pump" out heat like I expected.

Any how, I will keep it for another area and I'm off to shop again for a stronger heater.

Have had this heater for about a month and I'm very satisfied. It looks amazing and performs incredible. Warms up my 15x15 bedroom instantly even on low setting. I'm considering getting a second one for another room.
